I’m pleased to inform you that we have contracted the services of “Body in Motion Physio & Sports Injuries Clinicto work alongside our coaches and athletes. Anne-Marie of “Body in Motion” will be coming to the Ashdown on a fortnightly basis from 7pm to 8:30pm and will be based in the hut near the athletics track.

Anne-Marie will be able to provide sports massage, physio, exercises and advice during her visits, and she also has further facilities at their studio to perform cardio-vascular and video gait analysis. She will also be available to assist with any gym work in the newly refurbished gyms at the Ashdown or at the studio.

Poole AC will be heavily subsiding the evening attendance and good discounts are available to members who require use of their studio services.

The evening sessions will be broken down to 6 fifteen minute appointments, and will only cost members £7.50 per fifteen minutes.

To book appointments, please email physio@pooleac.co.uk

Poole AC achieve Clubmark accreditationPoole AC have become the first club in Dorset to be awarded the prestigious Clubmark acceditation from Sport England.

The award recognises Poole AC as a quality club and is the result of hard work 'behind the scenes' of several members of the club and all its coaches, committee members and parent volunteers.

To achieve this award the Club needed to prove and be audited on its quality of delivery of athletics and running to its members and the wider community, and represents the committment many have towards the club in their desire to see the club and its members succeed at all levels.

The awarding of Clubmark signals the beginning of a new era for the Club, with many exciting ventures to be announced shortly that will propel the Club even further forward.

Juniors and Track&Field meet on Tuesdays at the Ashdown Centre, Ad Astra Rd, Canford Heath on Tuesday evenings. Junior training starts at 6.15pm at trackside behind the Centre, Seniors meet at 7.15pm.  Click Here for Map

We have a number of social events also.
